Possible Solution to VW Cluster Off after Pogo Pin Reading

 

Tried to read the tacho with GODIAG GT110 via VVDI Key Tool Plus, during the process, the part completely went off, now it doesn't work anymore, also not on the vehicle, what could be broken, it's not burned or something else strange.

Possible Solution:

 

1.Check on VVDI Tools if still sige in programming write the eprom backup and ready

 

2.made the boot wrong and blew it away, it's no longer salvageable

 

3.Try resetting to take it out of service mode. If not maybe you broke the ribbon cable at the front

 

4.I tried to make one from Audi A1 like this with VVDI 2 and that same cable and frame stayed in service mode and weird thing. After I read with Abrite scheduled calls that turned out well

 

5.Pogo pin method turning cluster blown!

You will find you have short to ground on one of the eeprom data lines, this is blown NEC
