OBDSTAR X300 Classic G3 vs. DC706 vs. P50

 

Here is a comparison among three OBDSTAR Tablets: OBDSTAR X300 Classic G3, OBDSTAR DC706, OBDSTAR P50.

Intro

All three units come with P004 adapter, which allows you to connect a breakout cable for OBD or modules.

MP001 is when you need to read eeprom and access ecm to clone and read them, you will ask this.

This doesn't come with DC706, but G3 does come with MP001 included.

If subscription on any of these three, your tools will still work, and you just will not get updates.

And there are some cost savings for renewal before subscription runs out.

P50

The default function is crash reset, and just a code reader.

You can reset SAS, Airbag, and battery here.

P50 has the ability to update and add on Odometer Correction.

DC706

This is primary for cloning.

We can do body modules, ECM, TCM, and other modules.

There's a lot in supports and new modules that grows monthly.

G3

This is the immobilizer device.

Just remember BETA means that it's not 100% for all vehicles.

The ECU flasher is the same as that on DC706, but it does not by default have the cloning function.

Here is the beauty of G3: everything that you saw on each one of these (crash reset, odometer, cloning...), you can add all of these to G3.
