Must GM E39 with Different Service Numbers Match before Clone?

Purpose:

Have some GM ECM to clone using OBDSTAR DC706.

Do the Part number and Service Number need to match exactly?

My 2 E39 have different service and part numbers.

All have matching engines. Just different vehicles.

On eficonnection, ECM service number should match.

Here is the Answer:

Whether it is E39 or E39A, some will match and some won't and it makes no difference at all.

Two groups of E39:

Service numbers must match or be from the correct interchange family above

Or we can go to GM's website (https://www.gmpartsgiant.com/parts/gm-module-12651993.html) and put in the part number. Towards the bottom of the page look at the vehicle fitment. If that vehicle is in both of the list then it will work as the 2 computers are compatible with that car. If it's a global a then clone it and write it by DC706.
