  This article is going to show you how to reset and program a used EGS transmission after a transmission swap. Model: BMW X3 2015 CAS4 Tool: Autel MaxiIM IM608 Purpose: Reset EGS EEPROM and make it back to the factory settings   Procedure: Turn on Autel IM608 , go to IMMO>>BMW>>Smart selection>>EGS transmission system Check “EWS_EGS Status”, and the authorization fails. Go to “EGS Reset”. Notes. Must have strong Wi-Fi connection and stable 13v+ power. Download virgin file. Backup code failed. Just continue because we could reprogram it via software update. Have to wait for it to reset 3 parts. EGS reset succeeds. To check the sync of CAS module and EGS module. Turn off the ignition for a while, and then turn it on again. Click “EWS_EGS Status” to check. EGS is unlocked. We have reset EGS, so we can change gears. Then all we need to do is coding, and then we could use the car normally.   In this article, we’ll show you the process of Toyota RAV 4 2021 AKL Programming using Lonsdor K518ISE  and ADP Adapter . Let’s start it. Part 1. Connection Connect ADP Adapter to EPES(PEPS) module. Lonsdor ADP Adapter   package has two cables, 27PIN/24PIN EPES cable, so match pins to EPES module. Connect rest parts: OBD cable, ADP Adapter, Lonsdor K518ISE. Make sure the device is connected to network well. Part 2.   In this article, we’ll show you how to activate and update Autel MaxiIM KM100 . Step 1. Turn on Autel KM100 , Accept disclaimer, and click “Do not remind me again”. Go to Settings>>System Settings>>WLAN Connect Autel KM100 to Wi-Fi. Back to "Settings", and select "VCI manager". Connect VCI to device by USB cable. Switch to "Firmware upgrade" and update firmware if there is one available. Step 2. Back to Homepage, select “Update”. Download “System Program”. After it’s done, device will reboot automatically.
